JL Plastering & Venetian Design

JL Plastering and Venetian Design has shown himself as very professional and a great craftsman. I Would recommend to everyone and anyone looking for a unique look to their home, as every finish is different and a one off. He can even add the venetian finish to your worktops and cupboards, if required. We cannot recommend Jake enough, I saw some of his work on Facebook and contacted him to give us a quote for building and plastering a media wall in Venetian Plaster. He stuck to his price quoted, and offered some good suggestions which showed his experience and we are happy with. He arranged for us to visit the training establishment where he learned his skill in Venetian and Polished Plastering, which doubles as an advisory centre and showroom, so we could choose a suitable colour and finish to suit our decor requirements(loads to choose from, incidentally). He even made us a large sample board to put against our walls to ensure we were happy with the colour and finish. He completed the work yesterday and we are really pleased. Work was carried out to a higher standard than we actually envisaged and all our floors and furniture were covered and protected during the work. Have already booked him to come back for another job. Hes friendly, professional and I trust him to be in our home which for me is so important. Thanks Jake - see you soon!

Jake removed old fireplace and plastered chimney breast ready for an inset fire. He is very trustworthy, reliable and I would highly recommend him. Jake removed all rubble from site and cleaned up after the work was completed. Would not hesitate to contact him for future projects.

Jake has been an absolute pleasure to deal with over what has been quite a long, drawn out period while having building work done. Not phased by push backs, very understanding when contacted about our hold ups during the build and very accommodating getting us in over a busy festive period. We contacted Jake, without any real idea of what we actually wanted, and he booked us an appointment to view a showroom where he trained in Venetian and Micro Cement, we left with exactly the colour and pattern we wanted and our minds bursting with ideas, well worth a visit and short drive if it is something you can do. Jake and his keen apprentice Myles were both extremely polite, timely and mindful of our two young children, clearing up after themselves after each visit, and ensuring that the space was left safe and clean each time. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend JL Plastering to anybody, we are very happy with the work completed, and thank you for waiting from visiting us at bare brick, til finishing our statement piece!

Jake was fantastic from initial enquiry through to completing all work. We had the living room with media wall, hall, stairs and landing done. Everyone comments how great the Venetian on the stairs looks. Highly recommend!
