My roomz The Hollingdales Hotel

Rooms: You get what you pay for. Everywhere was clean and orderly. Nearby activities: Close to several bars and restaurants. Nearby attractions are only a couple of minutes away Safety: Have to get through two locked doors to get to your room door, they also have visible CCTV. Walkability: Close to everywhere, didn't need to use the car once. Food & drinks: Cheap enough drinks, good little area to have a quick beer while waiting for friends to get ready.

We stayed here not by choice but as relocated from the hotel we booked. Now this is a budget hotel and the review does reflect this, I have stayed in many budget hotels over the years and whilst this wasn't the worst it is 1 of the worst I've stayed at. As seen in photos drawings on walls, damage on the shower runner door which meant you could get stuck in the bathroom or at least made exiting tricky, a wardrobe that was as wobbly as jelly in addition to a Bed that felt you were sleeping on a hillside as had sunken at the side along with a TV that had no signal at all and something sticky on the floor. The overall room is what you expect from a budget hotel and it is priced in the lower side for Blackpool, The hotel did feel secure with decent locks on front main and bedroom doors. The location is good, within minutes to the beach and only a short walk to the main centre In summary I wouldn't stay here again as there are better, similar priced hotels in Blackpool that were much nicer, even as budget options
