Upon arrival they didn't have the rooms available that we had booked. I specifically booked Seaviews. Which wasn't a great start. It was like the arm didn't know what the elbow was doing. Owners had no idea what rooms were booked to who or how much people had paid. She had no idea what we were paying. I could of got away with paying 20 for both rooms and theyd of been non the wiser. We are honest though, not that it was anywhere near worth the price we paid. Very dusting, very worn carpets, uneven floors. Lift didn't work which didn't help my arthritis when they put us on the top floor. Freezing rooms even though the radiators were on. Solid bed and very thin quilt. They've made an effort to put double glazing on the front of the building but not at the back. Most of the windows were painted shut. God help if there was a fire because there's no way you'd get out. Bathroom very dated. Waited ages for water to get hot which was annoying as the taps were the push ones. We decided that paying an extra 5 for breakfast, on top of the already ridiculous price of the room was not happening. We were also disappointed to find that the bar wasn't actually open either. This "Hotel" is definitely not worth the money they charge you.
