Coliving UK - Somewhere Different

Somewhere Different has been a wonderful experience. A friendly, welcoming and cosy spot on the UK coast with great kitchen and coworking facilities, somewhere between hotel and hostel. Rica keeps the whole thing functioning and is an absolute godsend. I booked for a month and ended up extending. This is a really special place, highly recommend.

Duncan was the perfect host for his accommodation for digital nomads. He proactively gets people involved in local activities and is generous to a fault. And he certainly has some interesting stories to tell. The housekeeper Rica is just as engaging and is a pleasure to spend time with. If you're a digital nomad or simply want to sample the lifestyle, I highly recommend you include Somewhere Different in your itinerary.

Great stay in Blackpool at Duncans place - clean, comfortable, quiet - wifi was great, and I loved working in the co-working room with the other guests. Really appreciated the walks Duncan arranged on the weekends which allowed me to get to see a lot more of the area than I would have done otherwise. I enjoyed my stay so much Ive rebooked for when I return to Blackpool in a few weeks!

What a great discovery of this coliving and the city. :) I highly recommend Duncan. He is a superb host. He does his best to make the house come alive: movie nights, games, going to pubs, walks... The house is fully equipped and kept clean. The wifi connection is perfect everywhere in the building and the room is comfortable (I love the bed). Blackpool is a fun and lively town. Thats great also to relax by the sea, at only 2 minutes from the house. If you want to share with people and be in a working environment, this is the right place for you. Definitely recommended!
