The Glenmere

I stayed there 14 th . I rang the bell 4 times then a man came out I said i have a room booked . He pointed up stairs and said first left then went back in . I walked up the stairs with no lighs on i had to find a light switch to see were my door was . Im the morning i went for a shower to find freezing cold water . There was tea . Coffee and sugar but no milk . Ill never go back again

Stabdard b&b Reception was lovely. Very dated however if like me you dont plan on spending any time in the room then this is not a problem. There was absolutely no street noise going to sleep or waking up which was fab. This was from our room on 3rd floor other rooms may vary. Optional breakfast however at 5.95 for a full english you could take a stroll and get it somewhere else. On time of booking we requested parking and i was led to believe this would be available however it wasnt so had to find a space on the street. This meant 5 minute walk from car to hotel but given the weather didnt mind. Room came with tea coffe and kettle but very small preperatiin area. Shower room was very small however the shower was adequet for a quick wash. Bed was standard double and was clearly old as could feel springs but didnt interrupt sleep. Over all i would summerise this as a compact but clean hotel. Would stay again however due to no parking as advised when booking would stay at a reduced price (at time of booking 39 for one night 30th June)
