Glendowie Hotel

Clean room and very comfortable beds. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. TV with plenty of channels. A pleasant and helpful owner. We used the communal pool table and there was a selection of books to borrow during your stay. The street is run down but don't let this put you off as the hotel was great. Our room keys allowed us to come and go as we pleased as gave us access to main front door too without having to disturb the owner if we arrived back late. We were lucky enough to get a parking space on street outside but if not, there is a pay and display car park at the end of the street. 5 minute walk to the main promenade. Don't pass this hotel by as we had a very pleasant, comfortable and hassle free stay. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you!

Absolutely lovely hotel. Clean, comfortable and great facilities for the money. The owner Charly, could not be more accommodating and if you have a drink in the bar, she's very good company. Charly is great with kids and really friendly. Couldn't ask for more, especially at that price. I'll definitely stay there again next time I visit. One thing to note is that they don't do breakfast but the price allows for this and there are plenty of cafes within walking distance. Cog's cafe bar is highly recommended.
