Bedford Hotel

This hotel has taken a massive nose dive since being taken over!!! Do not pay up front as they do not refund any money Was only 1 large towel for 2 people. The toilet sytern ran all night. My partner nearly broke her leg because of the height of the first step up from the carpark. Also car parking costs have increased from 5 per night to 6. Opening the lift door was near hand impossible!!! So beware if you are elderly or have a medical condition. Needless to say I WILL NOT be back!!!

Location is great, very close to the tower and north pier. Room was basic but comfy bed and nice wallpaper. Paid 6 pound for 24 hour parking and 10 pound to use pool. Pool was warm with nice jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast had lots of choice, bit disorganised as run out of several items like white bread within an hour of service. Very noisy guests who are inconsiderate to others at 3 30 in morning talking loudly on phone calls, but not hotels fault. Games room was also fun with air hockey and car racing.

Just spent 3 nights here. We originally booked for 2 nights but they were very friendly and flexible and we were able to book an extra night. We had a free upgrade to a sea view room. Our room was clean with fresh bedding and towels. We had coffee making facilities and were given more if we needed it. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything. The hotel was quite and we slept well. We have no complaints and will definitely be staying again.
