Stayed at the Dudley Hotel this weekend 9th September 2022.We loved it. The owners Sandra and Mark are a lovely couple so friendy and couldn't do enough for us...so welcoming. We stayed in the Jungle room WOW!! the decor is amazing in fact the decor throughout the hotel is so beautiful and immaculately clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and would satisfy the biggest appetite plus beautifully cooked and presented. Definitely would highly recommend the Dudley hotel...a 10 out of 10 for me

Sandra and Mark couldn't have been more welcoming, smiles all round and friendly helpful and polite conversation throughout our stay. The Dudley itself is very brightly decorated and different themes run from room to room, so it definitely isn't drab and boring once you step inside the door. Mark gave us a tour of what's what showing us up to our room. You get a room key and a pin number so you can come and go without disturbing anyone. In the room is a fridge, kettle, and everything needed to make yourselves a hot drink. There is a TV and hairdryer in the room, and toiletries and towels in the bathroom. Breakfast is a never ending supply of what ever you fancy from the menu, cereals, fruit, yogurt, pastries or cereal bars. Toast, brown or white, butter, and a variety of jams and marmalades. Juice, tea, coffee, and decaf is available. And of course a cooked breakfast, which was done to perfection and was delicious, a good start to a few good days away. The hotel has it's own parking or you can park on the road out the front, we parked up out the back in their own private spaces as we didn't need the car. You can quite easily find somewhere to go for a drink and/or something to eat, Mark told us the nearest and best places. We ate and drank in the Dutton Arms and at the Steak House, and had a few drinks in the Spy Glass, all very nice places, and there's a Wetherspoons along past the Dutton Arms. Take a good comfy pair of shoes with you so you can explore the golden mile and north and south pier, but you can always take the tram or one of the horse and carriage rides to get you to the amusements, or sealife or madame tussauds and of course the tower itself. We had a short 2 night stay but the Dudley Hotel was a perfect place to stop over, nothing is too much for the hosts, keep up the good work Sandra and Mark.
