Ashley Victoria Hotel

I was a bit worried about coming to this hotel after I had booked just because of the look of it on the outside... I'm glad I booked. From first point on contact with the manager she was lovely very polite and very respectful. We then parked the car up and booked in to pay again the lady was fantastic very polite and chatted away with us. The room I had was very clean and well presented. The price we paid for this hotel wasn't much at all but it was worth every penny. And again the manager was outstanding could of asked for more very welcoming very polite and also chatty. I will rebook for this hotel.

If I could give you no stars I would, my poor parents booked this for my mums 60th birthday with a sea view, which they never got and they came home at 9pm as there was no hot water and the bed was damp. No staff at night to help and when rang them in the morning the lady at reception basically called my parents liers and said there was water and heating, when my mum face timed me she was sat there with a scarf, clothes and a hat on. She is no lier and she was so heartbroken. The lady at reception was no help what's so ever, she put phone down on me and won't answer again after I was getting upset due to my parents being upset. There quick enough to take your money. But not willing to help or even try. absolutely disgusting. Best advice I can give book some where else... for the money you pay, you can get better...

Pee stained bedding, broken shower, leaking window, whole place is tired looking. No sky TV as advertised just freeview ,room door not very secure looked as if it had been kicked in lots of times. Never seen the bar open . This is a B&B not a 4 star hotel. no food apart from breakfast as there is no restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful but cheap ingredients with those cheap frozen bake yourself pastries, generally not very clean looks like a hostel from outside and not much better inside. Don't dare to complain as the manager Diane is very angry she shouted at us when we complained and became quite aggressive. Don't be fooled like us this is not a 4 star hotel and nothing like the photos on the website they must have been taken several years a go.
