I used to really like coming to this Laundrette a few years ago but Ive found that the experience over the last year has been somewhat off putting for me. I myself am generally one of those people that likes to be left alone and do their own thing as well. Over the past year, the staff there have frequently gotten my back up a lot when it comes to customer service. I myself want to go to a laundrette whereby the customer can go in, pay the money by putting it in the machine of their own accord and frankly being left alone - Im a very private person and frankly several staff members have been very intrusive to me and my privacy, constantly telling me how I should be doing my laundry, offering constant suggestions which frankly I dont appreciate. The problems started when new staff members last year were employed and they used to stick their nose into my business and kept making comments which again, I dont appreciate as a customer. My back has been further pressed up against a wall when the machines started being operated by Alexa etc and having the manager take the money from me - Im no political expert but this is very much the equivalent of overreach and having outside parties constantly sticking their nose into my business - if my laundry isnt fully dry by the end of the cycle, that is MY business and MY business only - I will take the hit on that. Its gotten to the stage now where I dread coming into the laundrette now, and considering Im someone that suffers from anxiety and mental health issues as it is, I have found it very hard to have a pleasant experience there and on one visit, was almost on the verge of tears because the manager just would not stop getting my back up. It has become a very authoritarian way of operating the laundrette but Im gonna find elsewhere to do it because I cant handle this kind of approach. Loosen the control, let customers take responsibility for their own affairs and stop overreaching into every stage of the laundry process, stressing me out further.

Such a friendly guy and woman they took my things out of the washer and in the dryer for me as I was running late and they didn't charge me extra for doing this. Extremely helpful
