Park Road Surgery

Had to go to the walking centre one Sun over a wk ago about my knee. They referred me back to my doctors for an xray. I've tried repeatedly to call but not got through the one time I spoke to someone she asked me to call back at 8am the next Morning which I did on hold for 1hr couldn't wait any longer as I had another appointment. Tried again this Morn after 30ins on hold I was disconnected. I think it's disgusting that a 68 Yr old woman that doesn't go to the doctors very often or at all can't even get to speak to a doctor let alone see one. What am I do do if I go in to the surgery they'll tell me to call 8am the next day. I'll be wrighting to my MP about this surgery and the way it's run . An absolutely disgraceful and deeply negligent surgery.Avoid unnecessary potential damage and find another surgery.These so called doctors dont bother to do referrals,even when they have said they WILL.They wont always do basic medical investigations at the point of contact.I know too many people who have been SERIOUSLY sick one from cancer that they didnt pick up on.But instead were dismissed and sent home time and time again with a reprimand for continuing to bother doctors with nothing more than heartburn and indigestion, or anxiety that needed drugs to treat health anxiety.If you need medical care please do not expect care.One of the doctors in this surgery is known in this healthcare area for repeated misdiagnosis and mistreatment.In my own experience for years refused a home visits for a desperately sick,young patient.And it is near impossible to get an appointment in the day.The receptionist would say ring tomorrow, then again tomorrow....then AGAIN,...tomorrow, on and on it goes, week after month, after month.If you dare to be ill and persistent you may be scapegoated and outright bullied.Just AVOID.There is a particular receptionist who has been reprimanded for years for mistreating patients.The so called doctors follow HER lead and will ostracise patients.The good staff, turned a blind eye, but from what I understand have left so for those patients still at this surgery expect the possibility of being demeaned ,ridiculed and to forced to report your private health information to the receptionists who openly discuss in-front of other patients and be given ridiculous medical advise from said receptionists.Please find competent doctors and staff who respect a code of conduct and care..Do NOT go to this surgery.

Really bad experience. They don't care about your needs. I've been waiting for about 4 months for a simple document to be signed. Every time I just hear new excuses No wonder why they got 2 star rating. The only thing you can get from them is a paracetamol.

Been with this doctors over 30 years and it has got worse and worse and worse . Appalling staff . Appalling service . Nothing good to say about it . Would give less stars if I could .

Wish I could be 0/5 stars there are no redeeming qualities about this surgery that would merit 1 star. Dont go here unless you want to be put down, ridiculed and shouted at. The doctors are rude and heartless, the receptionist has a temper and loves to shout at people. The only way to make this place better would be to fire ALL the staff and start again. Absolutely DISGUSTED at the treatment Ive had from this surgery, and its not just a one time thing its been happening for a year. The doctors dont listen, they interrupt when youre speaking and speak down to you, suggesting what youre feeling isnt right or as if you shouldnt be there. The people you see when you feel you worst should be compassionate. A little empathy goes a long way and I think the doctors in this surgery need to learn that. I know negative reviews should be taken with a pinch of salt but if youre reading this save yourself some time and heartache and join any other doctors surgery
