Actually shocked about their quality of customer service and procedures to prevent fraud. So.. I bought a PlayStation 5 online, I wasn't told about needing any photo ID. However, luckily I always carry a few forms of ID.. I get to the checkout with my receipt and provide my Photo ID. As this was a few months out of date I was told they couldn't serve me even though I could provide proof of the transaction, show and make a purchase with the card I used to make this order and show my bank statement. I was told by the slightly dim member of staff I could get someone else to use their photo ID. This is where I'm stumped as to their logic, if I was to ring your bank and didn't know your information, would I be able to proceed with somebody else's information? No. I did eventually get this sorted by getting a complete stranger to show their photo ID and am now the happy owner of a PS5. I seriously think you should retrain your staff or update your policies - imagine if my emails got hacked and someone went in store with their own photo ID? I'd be 540 down. Will stick to amazon in future.

Absolute rubbish try getting a surprise for someone but they decided to scream it out so the thing I got for that person wasnt a surprise anymore
