        My husband and I have stayed at Choice hotel (claremont) every year for our wedding anniversary for years and loved the hotel.. We had booked to stay on 3/3/17 for two nights and paid a deposit of 150, unfortunately my husband passed away on 24/01 17 I rang to ask if i produced a death certificate could I have my deposit back and was told no refunds and no transfers... I am appalled at the way I have been treated and think it is bad policy on Choice Hotels to treat someone who has just lost their husband in this way. This has no reflection on the Claremont as it is a fabulous hotel. We even appear in the promotional video
