If you fancy a chilled time then call in at Catherines Coffee Shop in St Annes. This is a lovely quirky place set in a small antiques shop with outdoor tables. It serves coffee and cakes and in the evening you can enjoy a sharing board and alcohol. The owners are friendly and welcoming and willing to fit the menu to individual tastes, including vegan options. There is also live music on a Friday and Saturday. We called in about 5pm Friday evening and enjoyed a couple of fantastic sharing boards offering a choice of cheeses, pates, hummus and quacamole served with crusty bread, crackers, salsa, celery, walnuts and grapes. We enjoyed our boards with a couple of glasses of wine and cider and ended with the best coffee and brownies ! It was a great place to enjoy a Friday night and we shall definitely be returning
