Excellent Service. We phoned First Response yesterday about our drier which had stopped working. Darren called on us this morning , advised us on the best plan of action. We called into the shop, chose a new drier and by 2pm today Darren had fitted it and removed the old one. A friendly, helpful and informative service. Thank you, job well done. Kate and Robert Stead

Lovely people cannot do enough to help you everything is really reasonably priced alot cheaper than major shops ,my washing machine was installed the very next day with no problem at all and my old one taken away lovely friendly service would not go anywhere else for appliances

I originally bought a washer dryer from here with a 5 year guarantee included (incidentally the guarantee was emphasised as a great selling point by Darren). Nearing the end of the guarantee period the machine stopped working,so we called the guarantee people who then said they would replace the faulty machine as specified in the conditions of the guarantee. We were given a code which would allow us to collect a nee machine from the place of purchase which was first response.When Darren (the owner) was presented the code by us hi response and attitude was nothing short of atrocious and down right shocking. We were told thqt the guarantee was worthless and not valid as only a short time remained on the guarantee. He told us that we would only be given one sixtieth of the purchase price (since when do guarantees work like that!) He then proceeded to rip up the guarantee (twice) in front of us ,offered us3 pence from the till and evicted us from his shop. Such a totally unprofessional way to run a business. Obviously we contacted the guarantee people who were absolutely furious with first response and told us they wouldnt be dealing with him again. They were more than helpful and said of course we were entitled to a new machine . One week later our new machine was delivered (absolutely no thanks to Darren who told us we were wrong and not entitled to a new one at all) My advice is avoid this business like the plague and if you have a guarantee from the shop make sure you contact the guarantee company after Darren refuses you!!
