ABODE POULTON

My grandad stayed here for 8 weeks on respite care and he was very pleased as me and the family was also. I can only praise everyone who cane In contact with my grandad, the care team and management were excellent, grandad found the stay very comfortable within luxurious homely surroundings. My grandad suffers from dementia and at times can vent his frustrations and the team at abode care home did they all they could to deal with this and went above and beyond, grandad had no appetite; so to see him eating and putting bit of weight on was great to see, he found the food excellent and abode accommodated his dietary requirements. A sincere act of care and kindness that meant a lot to grandad and us as a family. Thank you abode.

Went to see abode carehome for my mother which is under new ownership by a reputable company. The care delivered by this company is exceptional and the rooms were all very homely and tastefully decorated, thought I was at the Hilton hotel. The owner/manager were very approachable and good listeners who took on board our needs and the response and experience shown were second to none. This is whats needed in the area. I have viewed a few carehomes in the area and none can match up to the all round care service this carehome can provide, I can see that the management here truly care from the heart, it means a lot to me and have peace of mind that my mum will be very well looked after here.

My mother went into Abode during the summer of 2019. My sister & I moved her from a larger home which was far too busy & noisy for her. At Abode in Poulton she is given the best of care from very pleasant professional members of staff who show genuine, individual concern & respect for their residents. The bedrooms are kept fresh & clean & each time I visit they are all happily sat in the very pleasant lounge area where they can be as sociable or as quiet as they would wish. It has been a huge relief for our family to know that our wonderful mum is being so well taken care of. She has a lovely recliner, they fix her hair & paint her nails. Her disposition has improved considerably since she arrived. I can only put this down to the level of care she is receiving in such a clean, peaceful & relaxing environment. Thank you to all at Abode. Keep up the great work!
