Wooded hilltop with a folly tower and great views through the trees over Guildford and the cathedral. Sandy paths lead to the top, taking about 15 minutes from the unsurfaced free parking area. The walk is quite steep in places but worth it for the views at the top. The tower isn't open but adds some visual interest. The plate on top of the stone pillar marks reference points in all directions. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly and good for a short walk.
