Art Intense Guildford

Briony is a wonderful art teacher. Teaching with enthusiasm and always willing to assist and answer any questions. The weekly subject matter is diverse and the different mediums used are an inspiration to anyone wanting to broaden their artistic skills. The atmosphere is friendly and fun and I look forward every week to the next class where I have enjoyed making new friends. The competition is only with oneself so no need ever to feel daunted by anything. Cant wait for next term. Clare D

Ive just finished my first term at Art Intense there is a lovely mix of students in our group all approaching the subject Briony has set with their own unique ideas. Briony has such a lovely way of delivering each session, she gives a demonstration at the beginning and then offers encouragement, advice and support throughout when we set off doing our own thing. Being relatively new I have been able to try various techniques and used different mediums some of which have been quite a challenge to master. It has been such a joy, Art Intense is now a highlight of my week and Im looking forward to returning next term. Chris

Briony, the tutor at Art Intense, comes up with the most interesting, if perhaps slightly odd, projects that really makes you think. And it is such a relaxed and happy atmosphere that even if you haven't done a very good job, it doesn't matter as it is all such fun. I would recommend anyone to come along, even it they can't paint too well as it is just a joy to be there.

I found with Briony exactly what I was looking for in an art course. She teaches a range of different media and explains techniques, materials and applications. My first term has been a journey, pushing me beyond my comfort zone and stimulating my creativity. Briony is a patient and encouraging teacher and I will definitely be continuing next term.

This course with Briony was just what I was looking for. An opportunity to learn new techniques for completing paintings in watercolour and Acrylic and trying out subject matter I would not have normally chosen. Briony is a very good teacher and I really enjoyed the classes, in fact I feel it was one of the best courses I have done and was pleasantly surprised with the results I achieved.
