The way Taekwondo is taught here is done so thoughtfully and creatively, and I feel like I am able to learn well and progress here whilst having a bit of fun. Proven with my promotion to 1st dan blackbelt in July 2022 at this amazing place. The instructors are all very kind and understanding, and can accomodate for you. As someone who has additional needs I can confidently say this is a great SEN friendly option if you're considering a martial arts club for yourself or your child. All the students here are lovely and exciting to train with. Everyone positively encourages each other to push themselves as far as they can go. There is none of this egoistic behaviour, rather the opposite with everyone here so modest and respectful. I have trained at 2 other Taekwondo clubs growing up but something just clicks with this one. The warmth. The teaching style. The community. Just everything. I love Tan'Gun and it's the reason I joined as a young adult in June 2021, been training continuously and happily never left or gone anywhere else to do Taekwondo.

Took my son to a few sessions just before the summer break. He seem to enjoy it. When I wanted rejoin the class, master David did not answer my calls or messages. Waited 5 months then found another place. Still don't understand why he never got back. Very disappointed!

I've been attending Tun'Gun Academy since March 2022 and thoroughly recommend it to all. It's been fantastic for both my physical and mental health. I'm not sure i'm supposed to enjoy exercise this much. I've trained with all ages and abilities and the instructors will push you to achieve your best but never go too far. It's a welcoming environment and everyone trains with a smile. I'm keen to get my children involved once they're a suitable age as I can see it's a great benefit to young and old alike.
