The telephone receptionist needs training in manners or if she doesn't like her job leave and someone else can take over, manners don't cost much dear, not worthy of a star I'm afraid

I was referred to the DVT clinic here by Royal Blackburn Hospital's Urgent Care Department. The waiting room was pleasant and had a calming atmosphere. The members of staff who dealt with me were all pleasant and very professional. The initial consultation was quick and uncomplicated, the leg scan went well and the consultation with Katherine was very well conducted. I felt reassured and well cared for throughout my visit. I have had subsequent telephone calls from the staff asking about my state of health so I feel well cared for.

Awful all round, ring at 8 and never get through by the time you do get through to someone they just say all appointments have gone call tomorrow. Once you do get through and offered something its just a phone call appointment instead of a face to face. Looking to move elsewhere

I have been with this surgery for over 30 years and seen many changes!! I have to say that I find the support that I receive is excellent. I know that getting through to make an appointment to see a doctor can be tedious and a faff but I generally get to see someone within a day or two. There are times when to do this Ive seen the practice or prescribing nurse which means at least Im able to see a medically trained professional quickly. This is followed by a doctors appointment if necessary. Hats off to the guy who answers the phone (are they still called receptionist?) He is always polite, patient and does his best to help with a cheery disposition
