Unfortunately this is a local shop that lacks customer service and professionalism. I have tried tongive them the benefit of the doubt but too many incidents of neglect and disregard for customers have led me to leave this review. I asked for electricity and gas top ups with a number but the shop keeper said he can't type the numbers in and would not even try! I Ended up at the Best One on top of new bank road and they did it with a smile. My daughter went into the shop and the shop keeper was outside talking to some people, he came in to the shop, looked at her, got a packet of crisp and went back out to eat them until they finished and THEN came into the shop 5 minutes later with no apology or anything?? My son went into the shop and asked about a certain lollipop price. He was told 5p. He buys them every week after school and has been for the last 2 weeks. He went in yesterday and bought 7 lollipops only to be told they are now 10p each?? At the same time another girl was in the shop and the price changed for something and the shop keeper did jot allow her to put it back because she youched it?? All incidents have involved the short shopkeeper with grey beard. I don't know him by name but if you visit the shop you will know him. This is the first convenience shop that is the most inconvenient place to shop. A message to the owner of the shop, 'please train your staff the basics of customer service and service with a smile or you will have no one to serve' A message to the shopkeeper in question, 'if you do not like your job or haven't got the skills to carry the job out properly, please get another job where you don't ruin everyone else's day when they walk in!
