Birch Hall Care Home

The Nurses and staff work hard and are caring and compassionate. My mother never complained while she was cared for there and was pain free and happy. Sharon was especially helpful.

Great place great staff , I can only urge they stop using herida medical for their services and repairs and to be cautious buying pure air products as many of the deaths involved arent out in the open. The drivers are heavy drinkers and could put vehicles at risk holding the stock to places such as Birchall... hopefully this sheds some light again an amazing care home with great staff.

This review has been a long time coming but I feel I need to write something . My brother has been a resident In Birch Hall care home for the past five years following a severe stroke at the age of 42 YRS he spent several weeks in hospital followed by Rehab and a decision was made he needed full time care. Its not an easy decision as a family to accept that a loved one wont be fully recovered and be able to come home but often these decisions are taken away from us. From the minute My brothers contacted Birch Hall they were treated with Warmth Respect and Empathy regarding my brothers Illness and a decision was made by the family that he would be happy here and not to far away from his family we would be able to visit him regularly as it was important for his health and well being. Since the day my brother was admitted here Myself and my family have been extremely happy with the care and attention that he has received and still receives we cant praise the staff enough not only does the home have a high standard for care for the residents but they also look after the emotional needs of the family as well. The staff are the most caring individuals one can meet they not only look after the physical emotional and spiritual needs of their clients they do much more as well. Nothing is too much for them. I can honestly say we are more than happy with the care my brother receives. I cant praise all the staff involved enough for the wonderful care for my brother and us as a family we receive from the carers housekeepers cooks cleaners and many more and not forgetting the management who work tirelessly to run this home and look after our loved ones. As a family we are kept up to date with all the aspects of his care and we are encouraged to be involved in all aspects which I feel is important as a family. When you enter the home you are greeted with a warm welcome you can tell the residents are happy with the smiles on their faces. The staff are cheerful warm and welcoming and treat your family with respect. If you read through the information on the websites you will see they do more than they are given credit for. So if you have any doubts about having to place your loved ones in long term care please be reassured this wont be the case in this care home your loved ones will be looked after extremely well and all needs catered for.
