Used Stubbs to move into our last home in 1989 and so was delighted they were able to move us again this year - at very short notice too. Professional, polite, friendly and very good value. Won't hesitate to use them again.

Just read moving house to Dunoon and we are the actual customers. We had engaged the services of another removals company local to the Preston area however, we were let down by them and they became fully booked without warning us of their bookings status. We contacted Andrew and he was round the same afternoon. He was extremely efficient and from the outset extremely easy to get along with. In fact, we would say that we had an excellent rapport throughout the whole moving process. Andrew did not let us down regarding the delivery of boxes etc., and put our minds at rest regarding arrangements. On the day of the move Andrew and his colleague worked tirelessly in unpleasant humid and wet conditions, prior to setting off on a considerable drive before spending the night in the vehicle. We met Andrew and his colleague the next morning at a storage facility prompt, as requested, prior to attending our new home. On arrival we knew that there would be significant challenges with regard to manoeuvring the vehicle around very difficult bends and a long uphill reverse and then along a dead end under low hanging trees. As an ex-police traffic officer for 24 out of 30 years and holder of full PCV and LGV driving entitlements, I was impressed to say the least. The move into the property involved negotiating a significantly lengthy path with a steep incline and I know that this was physically hard because we gave assistance also. In conclusion we would state that whilst moving home is an acknowledged highly stressful experience, Andrew and his colleague were brilliant.
