Charges council nearly 300 a week per resident then wants 30 a week service charge. Staff steal from you. I had 4 bunches of flowers stolen from me by staff. Told police, nothing done. You don't get any support if you did need it. I asked for a page printing once. They said email it to them then instead of just printing it, it was " come back in an hour" , then " Come back in 20 minutes". I went to the library and paid in the end. Asked for one thing in 2 years and they couldn't do it. All the food is halal. ,so only caters to Muslims when there aren't even any Muslims in there, as run by Muslims. If it was a Muslim being forced to not eat halal, that would be racism. No alternative meals offered if you won't eat halal. No vegetarian options or vegan in this day and age, either. They never put any heating on, ever. They have one domestic, rented washing machine for 40 residents. They have one domestic rented dryer that breaks all the time and they don't bother calling anyone to fix it for weeks on end. Residents have to go to Morrisons to wash and dry their clothes for 7. The hostel receives donations but these never reach residents, they keep them locked in the cupboard. They make some residents buy their own toilet paper when they already pay for it. They charge residents for donated food and bottles of water in the tuck shop. Staff are petty and enjoyed locking residents up in their rooms for a week at a time, during lockdown, even though they weren't ill. They only allowed residents out for one hour too, his included exercise and shopping time. Downright illegal. Staff are mostly ex drug addicts and one woman went to prison for stabbing someone. As if you give people like that a job where they could get in conflict with someone. The staff never clean, they rely on people volunteering. It'd never get cleaned otherwise.
