        Just found out my dad at stage 3 lung cancer. How it took the GP all this time to find out now. Considering he had many chest xrays and reviews in last 12 months it's a joke . I will be going to the papers with this.

        Been on thw phone and given the run around all morning. Just spoken to an extremely rude receptionist that refused to issue a prescription for an inhaler. I am not in the area and ive been told i either go to A n E or wait two days. She then hung up on me after saying "the way your speaking isnt really helping myself" essentially holding vital medication to ransom!! Absolutely appalling doctors surgery and i will be seeking legal advice! The receptionist needs sacking!!

        Im giving five stars for treatment by the locum, Dr Gunn! He took time to listen to me, he read my history notes, prescribed antibiotics, ordered tests, looked at me whilst I talked and told me to make a pre booked appointment to follow up on tests a week later!I didnt feel rushed and he made me feel as though he cared for me as an individual.Brilliant!
