Exchange Coffee

Regarding Exchange Coffee, Blackburn Market Mall. I used to go here 3 times a week, prob spent a small fortune over the last couple of years. Loved that it was quiet and tucked away. Id let my baby sleep in her pram whilst I had a hot drink. Although sometimes the smell of fish and meat was sometimes a bit potent and not very nice, as it used to drift from the other stalls. For the same price of coffee, you can now sit in costa. Costa have new chairs and seating and through the app, you get regular points and free drinks. I dont use Exchange Coffee anymore. One of the young, tall, slim, lady staff, with blond hair and glasses kept giving my children unkind looks and the customer service was a bit awful. No smile, no hello, no talking basically. It was strange, as a regular customer you think they might know me or at least be politer. But instead most of the staff were very introvert and withdrawn, I felt. Not all would ask you your coffee size or how you want it, just make it however they wanted and charge what they want. Eg a medium drink in a paper cup as apposed to a large in a sit in mug. In the end, I thought, sitting in a relaxed atmosphere and paying extra for good coffee should also include good custom. It didnt, so I dont visit this place anymore. On the last visit, the lady was just rude, throwing napkins my way. Or sweeping previous customer debris from under where Im sat, right when Im trying to have a coffee. So goodbye to coffee here. It was just bizarre. No real training and weird staff.
