Great location for our son's 10th birthday party with 9 of his mates. They loved it! An hour spent playing nerf team games (shooting each other) in a purpose built space with all sorts of obstacles and features followed by 30 mins food and play in a separate space. Iain and the team were really helpful.

Booked my son and his friends joint 7th birthday party here. There was 44 children that attended in total and I was worried initially that there wouldn't be enough room for children and parents, there wouldn't be enough time between our party starting and the previous party ending and that the staff would be too overwhelmed with the amount of people in attendance - but I had nothing to worry about!! There was ample room with plenty of seating (with additional extras such as a football table that was a big hit), the previous party was just leaving as we arrived but both rooms were cleaned and rearranged quickly before our designated time slot and the staff were helpful, efficient, thorough and made the experience enjoyable for all the children attending. My son said that he had an amazing time! Thank you so much Blackburn Dart Zone - We had 2 very happy birthday boys along with happy, sweaty, tired out guests :)

We was there last weekend when Michelles party was there, I don't understand why she's complaining about it being open to the public that's the same policy as most places, If you book Brewers Fayre for a party you have the option to book it out for the party if not guess what? There will be other people there. Your son isn't royalty our kids had no interest in being in your photos they was too busy having fun. As was your children.

I went here for a family birthday and I had no idea what to expect. I turned up with a pram and when I saw the steep stairs I did panic wondering what to do. So I left my pram and went up. The guy the owner I think could not be more helpful towards me. He went and got my pram which is a very heavy hefty one and got it up for me. He then helped me as my babies bottle needed cooling and could not have offered any more help. Checking the adults and babies were OK regularly, making sure if we were cold He would put heater on, provide blankets ect. The actual entertainment looked great fun and all I heard were lots of laughter and good banter. The lights and darkness was a nice visual for my baby when we nipped in. There's quiet area in another room where we sat so you can separate yourself from the noise and flash lighting. Or you can sit inside and watch. This is a warehouse type setting which makes it perfect for what it is but if you can't climb steps well avoid going. They are steep. So my review is all positive because although I did not play I was well looked after and that is something I appreciate. It is definitely something to try.

Visited yesterday for my sons birthday and it was an absolute shambles.I should have known when I booked it and then when I rang to check the time, there was no recollection of my booking....so then we had to book a later party and change our plans. I arranged everything over the phone and I wasn't told that unless there was a certain amount of children then the place would still be open to the public. The waiting area for parents is awful and reminded me of an old school taxi rank with second hand sofas and random chairs dotted around. The place was being run by a few teenage lads, who were lovely but just didn't seem to manage the children very well. I had to put the children's bibs on and I had to ask one of the lads if they could tell the children the rules as they were just stood there! I then had the worry of taking photographs as there were other children there that I didn't really want in the photographs. I spoke to the manager on the phone and he basically said that it was my fault for not checking the website about the exclusivity of the place! There was a water leak in the actual arena that just had a bucket sat underneath it....this then got knocked over so there was water everywhere and the children had to avoid that whole area until it was mopped up and dried. One of the children wanted some food during the session so I took him over and he initially chose some crisps but I noticed they were a month out of date....he chose some Smarties and a small sweet, which cost 1.50 and then he was given the incorrect change and it was only because I was there that this was spotted as a small child wouldn't have known! The party room was set up nicely and the food was on the tables but there just seemed to be no organisation and I had to go and sort the cake etc and really I was paying for that service. The whole place is freezing and also very dark and I am fully aware it is in an old mill but one child ended up wearing a scarf! The only fortunate thing was that the children enjoyed it but it was clear to all the adults that it was not organised properly nor managed properly!
