Went in Saturday decent nice little pub good music one major major flaw is the landlord was an arrogant prik how so many pubs have closed down in this town and he has managed to stay open ill never know

My partner and I visited for the first time on Saturday, we were really excited to go because we are new to the area. Unfortunately as we walked in the reception was icey from both customers and the staff. It literally went silent, and everyone was staring at us, everyone seemed as though were annoyed we were at all. I even asked "Are we not meant to be here?". We still bought 1 drink each, but with the staff and the what I assume to be boomer regulars, aggressively staring at us evertime we dared to look around the room. We left after having half of our drinks. I 100% would not recommend, I am a small business owner myself, and this is the first time I've been made to feel so uncomfortable, from the moment I've walked in. It was appalling really. I assume this is one of those places where if you don't know them, you're not welcome, and if you're under 40, they'll probably want you to leave. We will not be back.
