I went into store on 23.04.23 around 4pm. I didnt realise there was a queue as the other customer was stood in the doorway and not at the front. Was told extremely rudely (which I did point out at the time) you need to get to the back of the queue this particular lady with dark hair wasnt doing much really and other lady with blonde hair seemed to be rushed off her feet getting orders ready. I heard the original lady serve other customers with no customer service skills or friendly manner. I visit this store regularly as Im a retail manager myself and work around the corner. All the team are usually very friendly, helpful and polite especially the manager so my only guess is as the manager wasnt in and that it was towards the end of the day shed had enough and couldnt be bothered I really hope it was a one off but felt that strongly I had to leave a review. I hope the manager does see this and realises what this lady is like when shes not around as I myself would hate to think my team was letting me or my store down.

Good food here but the name needs changing, its no longer cheap.

Pound Bakery shops are pretty much the same wherever you find them, in my experience. Although they should probably rename themselves, being as you'd be hard pressed to find anything for a pound these days. Gotta make special mention of the young woman who served me - an absolute credit to the company.
