Not good! dad is blind no pulling cord or necklace alarm in bedroom so how would he able to get help in the night to go toilet, the bathroom light did not work so how would they able to be attend to him when going toilet!! Thankyou so much for making my father's stay with you so comfortable. He came to you after a long spell in hospital and the quality of care and concern he received was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend your establishment and staff to anyone.

If you are considering placing a relative/friend at this care home, I would strongly advise against it. My nan arrived at this care home in early 2020. We regularly had to point out health concerns that were not picked up by the carers/home staff, which considering that this is the service they claim to provide, is rather worrying. Many times they were very dismissive about theses issues claiming that she was okay, which turned out not to be the case. My nan, who was very frail and a fall risk was also left on her own when she shouldn't have been. I do not know how many times this happened, however the time that my mother went to visit her she was left on her own in the summer house and subsequently she had a fall. She had multiple falls in this care home. We experience staff rushing around and rushing my nan when trying to get her into a wheelchair to take her back into the home. They spoke at her, rather than to her in a very quick manner which meant that she was unable to comprehend what was happening. For a person with dementia, who wasn't overly thrilled in requiring to be in a home this was incredibly distressing and confusing. They claim that they have enough staff, however logically this cannot be the case as it takes multiple attempts for the bell to be answered and the staff that you do see never have any time. During my nans time there all the competent staff left so this should tell you something. I must say that the activities co-ordinator is lovely, however she is only there a couple of days a week which doesn't seem enough mental stimulation to me.

New manager has made this home feel like home! Lovely staff and clean and nice rooms. The food is very good and the laundry is very well done. The surroundings beautiful. Lots for the residents to do from the activities coordinator and lovely garden.
