Owning a cockapoo means one thing; the need for daily grooming! My wee fella has a lot of 'poodle' in his coat which means he will require regular clipping. On meeting Sophie, she instantly put me at ease and quickly understood my dog's needs:matching his grooming/styling to his lifestyle. Sophie is very talented, caring and was extremely patient and gentle with my nervous dog (as this was his first visit). Needless to say I've already booked his next appointment! Thank you Sophie, you are already very special to both of us.

Skyvana is the first pet groomers that Ive found who listened and completely understood what I wanted. They worked with my Pomeranian today. Pomeranian grooming is notoriously difficult and most groomers Ive come across will clipper their coat, generally because they dont understand how to groom them correctly. That wasnt the case with Sophie. She was amazing and was very knowledgeable about the breed. I was absolutely impressed with how well she blew out his undercoat and scissor cut him into shape. He had a little bit of knotting and a massive amount of undercoat to deal with but he came out looking and smelling fantastic. I couldnt be happier. Skyvana K9 groomers were really responsive and I very much appreciated the ability to initially book an appointment online, very handy! They then got in touch for more info on my dog and what service I was after. Arriving for the appointment, Sophie met me at the door and spent a good amount of time talking to me so that she understood both my dog and I. It was very nice to meet a groomer who puts the welfare of the dog above the business needs. She really is great with dogs and put my nervous baby ( who was upset from the car journey) at ease almost immediately. I have to use a muzzle when I groom him otherwise he fights with the brush lol but Sophie was able to brush him with no issues, which was incredible. It meant he was much less nervous and it was less traumatic for him too. When I arrived to collect him, Sophie explained what shed done and how he had responded and when I asked if she could just round his ears a little she was very happy to. I couldnt be more grateful to Sophie at Skyvana K9 grooming for what shes done with my Pomeranian today. Im looking forward to booking my bear coated sharpei and chocolate Labrador in to see her ASAP as I know for sure she will do just as great a job with them too! I will 100% be using Sophie at Skyvana as my regular groomer for a three dogs from now on. I highly recommend this groomer and her business which also has a wonderful stock of perfect dog foods and treats. I bought a brilliant toothpaste spray from them which from the reviews, will be great at cleaning all three dogs teeth! The service and products available for the prices they charge is unparalleled. In essence my baby went in looking like a raggy doll and came out looking like a prince. She knows what shes doing. Thank you Skyvana, I couldnt be more grateful. I only wish I could post before and after pictures to show what a brilliant job you did yay, turns out I can so here they are, before and after........
