I've known Ian for many years and he's looked after al of my aircooled cars and buses. In addition to being highly skilled on the tools his overall knowledge of classic Volkswagen models is encyclopaedic and he was instrumental in helping me build my german look beetle. I could see the end result in my head and knew the desired result and Ian was able to fill in a lot of technical gaps, assisting with the specification and pointing me in the right direction for other suppliers, interior trimmers etc. I just know the beetle wouldn't half of what it is without his involvement and I'd have zero hesitation in recommending him. Services: Brake service & repair, Body & Trim, Transmission, Transmission repair, Electrical repair, Exhaust, Brakes, Electrical, Steering & suspension repair

I consider myself extremely lucky to have discovered Ian at E's Autos a few years ago. He is the most knowledgeable and helpful air cooled specialist I have had the fortune to meet. His workmanship and advice are second to none and he strives tirelessly for customers to leave his workshop happy so that they are able to relax and enjoy their vintage vehicle. I live 50 miles from Ian's workshop but wouldn't dream of taking my VW anywhere else for planned work.
