I wanted something to do after I retired. I thought about joining a choir as I love singing around the house, but had never been in one before and wasn't sure whether I could sing well enough. Then I found Lucy's Pop Choir. It's pure fun! Lucy and Kate are so full of enthusiasm and make it so enjoyable, and all the choir members I've met are so friendly. And the songs are great and we sound great! I've always felt my voice is too low, but I've found my home with the altos, and I love singing as part of a harmony. My favourite thing is the harmonies, which can be spine-tingling! I've made new friends and I know that every Monday I'll be uplifted! And I have more confidence about my singing voice. Join us! You'll love it! Thank you Lucy and Kate!

I'd always enjoyed singing in choirs when I was young, then seeing some on TV reminded me so I decided to join Lucy's Pop Choir. It's a fun activity without anybody taking it too seriously, plus there's a good variety of songs. I love being able to sing without feeling self conscious and I've made a new circle of friends! Lucy's Pop Choir is a fantastic chance to join with others who just love to sing for enjoyment. Lucy's enthusiasm, along with great, easy to follow techniques for singing, make for a fun experience and a very friendly bunch of people.

I joined the choir to try something new to do, cheer myself up, meet people, and sing more! Lucy is a real tonic and I loved that we immediately were out and about singing as a choir - my first gig was at Joseph Rowntree Theatre within a month of joining! I love that anyone can join and you don't have to audition or read music. It's a great way to feel part of something and even in lockdown we have been meeting up over Zoom to learn new songs. It will be great to get back together again!
