I visited Vics Fish Bar a week ago last Monday, my order cost me over 43. I was treating my family. I ordered 3 large cod, which when I got home they had been cooked so long the fish had dried up inside and the batter was too hard to cut. The double burger with cheese when I got it home it was only one burger, it was so squashed that it looked more like a happy meal from McDonalds but worse. The staff were all youngsters training they had obviously given by double burger to someone else, they took so long to get the order ready that it was all cold when I got home. I telephoned as soon as I got home to complain but was told that the fish goes by weight, what fish there was none inside the batter, and I was told that he had cooked my two burgers himself but I never got both. There was no real apology and no mention of any compensation. The best thing for Vics chip shop is get some staff who know what they are doing. The whole meal was ruined, and I certainly will not be spending any more money in that place. I shall be telling other people who go there not to bother.
