They are always late but when you could be one or two minutes late they won't accommodate you. Plus been shut most of last week. No empathy at all

Have been here several times for tests. Easy to use and so useful being so local. This is connected to stokewood surgery in fair Oak so if you need to see a nurse or have tests then you'll often get referred here which is very convenient. Always parking outside the surgery on the road. Self check in when you arrive and you don't normally wait that long when you arrive in the waiting room. All the ones I've seen so far have been friendly enough. No qualms about this place.

Writing A Review
Not often one to write reviews, however in this instance (particularly regarding something as fundamental as a functioning doctors surgery) I feel it is necessary. As my local practice and as a young patient with a recently increased use of the Old Anchor Surgery I have been incredibly disappointed with the service received: - Staff seemingly unable to call back when promised - receptionists and Dr's guilty of this. - Nigh on impossible to get an appointment unless prepared to wait weeks/calling early in the morning on the day you wish to make the appointment - even then you're lucky to get one and it makes scheduling impossible for anyone with a job or other commitments. - Constant chasing required - over 5 phone calls and still waiting for a Dr's note 3 weeks after first requested, despite multiple promises that It would be posted etc. - Misdiagnosis from Dr's - benign Bone Tumor diagnosed as a varicose vein in a 21 year old male, own research and second opinion that lead to correct diagnosis. This is to mention but a few experiences recently and without touching on the similar negative experiences of family. It's a great shame as the Old Anchor Surgery has the potential to be a great village Dr's surgery. Please try and streamline your business, this sort of operation should be unacceptable across any industry, let alone one that is entrusted with peoples health and well being.
