Old Walls Vineyard

Celebrated my 60th birthday and retirement party in the event room upstairs at The Old Walls Vineyard. It was a fabulous night, brilliant venue, great music and lovely food buffet. The staff were amazing at the bar and making sure everything was fine. It was. Myself, family and friends had a truly amazing time and those that stayed in the lodges enjoyed their stays. Thank you to everyone at the Vineyard for making my party so special Food & drinks: Great buffet food for my party. Fabulous breakfasts too

The food was excellent, we had a roast dinner and it was genuinely the best roast I've had in a while. (I went to Rick Steins The Cornish Arms week before for a roast and Old Walls far outshone it!) Lots of quality veg, Yorkshire pudding (even if you order pork) and great cuts off meat. Really love the vibe up here too and on a sunny day I'm sure it would be lovely to sit outside as it has gorgeous views. Wine lovely too!

Lovely location but customer service is absolutely awful! We stopped at the lodges in August 2022. They didn't send us details of how to get in. There were no staff there and couldn't even get in touch on any phone numbers. Even during the holiday and after making a complaint afterwards we've still never been contacted. It's a real shame because it's a lovely location but for me customer service is so important! If I'm paying 2000 for a week I expect to be able to get in to the property and not be completely ignored Also one of the doors didn't lock so never felt secure there
