As both a Snobby Londoner and an Italian wine enthusiast, I must say that this place is more than the sum of its parts. One may dismiss it as a corpo winehole from the outside, but inside you find lush wines, friendly staff, and an unexpectedly pleasant environment. One always judges an establishment by their cheapest wines, and their Appassimento Salerno (at 5 for 125ml) is one of the most exquisite wines Ive had in recent memory. While youre here, do not under any circumstances pass up the Super Tuscan. It is cheese on toast, but elevated to the highest level you will experience in your mortal life. I would write more, but alas there is more in the bottle. Toodle-oo!
