For the adults as a couple you will enjoy the London eye but with kids under 4 I feel its better to choose a water team park or zoo ..

As someone born and raised in London, I am cynical about the city's tourist attractions as overpriced scams. Yet with a cousin from Dhaka in the city, on an impulse he wanted to a ride on the River Cruise when we were on the London Eye this afternoon. I really enjoyed the experience: we bought tickets at the kiosk for the next trip that hour. Straightforward secuity checks of bags before we boarded. We are welcomed by staff. The boat is clean and maintained. There are toilets on the boat and refreshments sold below deck. The best part was the tour guide, Jordan: entertaining, informative and tireless in enthusiasm. The direction of the tour is according to the tide level, and as on this afternoon it was high, we headed eastward instead of towards Westminster Bridge. I learnt a whole lot despite living in London all my life. My advice would be to have a wooly hat, scarf and jacket at hand, because despite the weather being sunny, it can get cold and windy. In summary: a good-value experience.
