Quite the most appalling Croquet Monsieur I have ever been served - soggy and undercooked and unfeasibly large. Otherwise staff were efficient and businesslike if a little unfriendly.

We visited this morning for brunch with a 1 year old. The food and service were lovely and good value for money however we were shown to the downstairs seating area as no ground floor available but were not allowed to use the disabled lift for the pushchair. When going down we thought we were told it was out of order but on leaving was told it was only for disabled guests and we weren't allowed to use it for a pushchair. We then had to carry the push chair and child upstairs which we feel was extremely discriminative, not inclusive and a health and safety issue for evacuation. On challenging staff we were informed the lift could be used if he was in a wheelchair but not a pushchair. Please could you readdress either your policy or your staff training on this matter if they were incorrect and advise of outcome. Kid-friendliness: Provided a high chair but not accessible for seating or changing area which is downstairs and not allowed to use disabled lift.
