Mulberry Bush

Firstly I would like to Thank Malachai for his patience with me and helping me with our Director's leaving do. We arrived at the venue and it was truly a nice building, great inside decoration and buzzing of life. The staff were very welcoming and bubbly. We got upgraded to one of the big rooms and the stairs to the room were decorated with lights which made it feel magical. The room was very spacious and had different seating's (chairs and sofa). You are able to have big groups or small ones as well. They had music playing in the background and gave you the option if we wanted music or not. The staff were very helpful and brought up all our orders. You also have the option to have a tab open and all the payments get deducted there. They had different options for food and the service was quick. My Director and us all had an amazing time and we definitely recommend Mulberry Bush.

Roast was incredibly disappointing. First off, your website is not up to date as the whole reason I visited you was to have the pork belly roast which was not available. I then opted for the beef which was more expensive (again, prices not updated on website) it not only turned up after 50 minutes - but was so incredibly tough it was difficult to chew and wholly an unpleasant experience. I also did not get the extra gravy I asked for until 3/4s of the way through my meal which is essentially useless. The rest of the meal was fine, the cabbage and the carrots being a particular highlight. The staff were all really friendly but seemingly needed constant reminders that we were even there - although I do appreciate it was very busy. All in all, for the price we paid - I expected a lot more, and consistent food quality should be upheld if you are you going charge people 22 for a roast. Looking at past reviews it looks like the beef roast has been an ongoing complaint for about 6 months, which indicates to me that whilst you are apologetic for our experience, you dont intend to change or improve.
