Lazy useless arrogant staff who cant be bothered to take orders or work. We had to leave as they couldnt be arsed

honestly one of the worst pizza express places my partner and i have been too. i understand that you get what you pay for, but this was entirely annoying and terrible. first we were seated right next to the hostess stand/till, where all of the workers would crowd and chat very loudly in Italian- ruining any chance my partner and i had to talk and enjoy our meal (which we couldnt do anyway) our server mustve been a dunce, as they kept bringing over the wrong food. in one of these instances, the girl who brought the wrong food, rolled her eyes when we politely told her, and stormed off with no apology. the attitudes everyone had was appalling, the second i opened my mouth, our server became very blunt and rude, and i wasnt too sure how to feel, as i am a masculine woman. perhaps there was some confusion there. quite frankly, it wasnt forth the 60 we spent on our meal, we paid immediately on the app, and left as soon as possible.

Pre booked6pm for 7.30 concert at Festival Hall. On arrival took some time to get seated, but eventually got taken to decent table towards rear. Ordered one starter, two mains, two glasses of wine. No sign of foodcouldnt get waiters attention to ask..30 mins in both mains turned up, having been offered to another table first.no starter? My main (cannelloni) Luke warm at best, didnt want to risk anymore time getting it sent back. No condiments/oil on tableagain, couldnt get anyones attention to ask for some. Then took forever to get anyone to get billpoor service seemed to be affecting all tables in our vicinityand most people at this time are going on to concerts etc. seemed to be either understaffed, or poorly trained disinterested staff. No real interest in no starter or fact that meal was cold.guess too guaranteed full house every night at this time to be bothered. Certainly wont be eating there again.
