Today was the first day I drove an electric car in the UK. Mohamed and Annie were kind and gave me a lot of information about how to charge an electric car and where to charge it. They also helped me to find things that were lost in the car. It was an unforgettable trip for me.

The worst car renting experience I've ever had. I booked a car to drive out to Wales for the long weekend with my partner. Upon arriving they couldn't match my address to my name on their "internal system" and thus could not rent me the car. They refused to take any proof of address (claiming these are easily forged - despite having bank statements / council tax bills / etc) and claimed it had to be done "through their system". I had been living at the same property for 2 years. Left without the car and had to rent from somewhere else at considerable cost and stress. I did not receive a refund for my 50 deposit. I have since rented cars in the UK since and at every dealer I tell them this story; it doesn't seem this is the usual way of doing things or indeed even a standard policy, and in all likelihood they did not have the car available and lied about it. Avoid at all costs - will never rent from Alamo again.
