Premier Inn London County Hall hotel

Rooms: We paid extra and booked a Premier Plus room as we required comfort and space knowing we would be tired after our London trip. The room was not as clean as we would have expected and we had an empty shampoo container. We were mainly disappointed at the view from our tiny window. This view was 3 brick walls which allowed no light whatsoever. As I suffer from claustrophobia we asked to be moved to an alternative room but was told this was not possible. I found this stay very disappointing. Why charge EXTRA for a room that had no business being classed as a PLUS. I would have hoped for a much better experience than this after paying the extra amount, expecting at least some shampoo and a 'room with a view'.

Location is great but rooms are small. No wash cloths and to daily room clean up. Shower was interesting. Couldn't regulate the water and it was everywhere. Nearby activities: London Eye and Big Ben in walking distance

Nothing was known of this upon arrival. We were promised that we could move to the desired rooms the next day, but this didn't come true. What is unusual and new to us is that at the Premier Inn you have to ask reception at the day before if you want your room cleaned. We only found a corresponding notice per floor opposite the elevators. Although we asked for cleaning, nothing happened in both rooms - they were 2 floors apart. Several tables were sticky in the hotel bar. Despite these inconveniences, the positive factors in the Premier Inn London County Hall outweigh: the proximity to the city, the basic cleanliness of the rooms and in the hotel, the comfortable and spacious rooms, the value for money, the rich breakfast menu and the friendly staff. That's why we would like to come back. (Original) Nachdem wir in frheren Jahren bereits zweimal zur vollen Zufriedenheit im Premier Inn logiert hatten, entschieden wir uns auch dieses Mal 3 bernachtungen in 2 Doppelzimmern zu mieten. Leider wurden wir jetzt vor allem von der Organisation und etwas von der Sauberkeit im Bereich der Bar enttuscht. Im Rahmen der Reservierung baten wir um Zimmer mit einer bestimmten Lage. Bei der Ankunft war davon nichts bekannt. Man versprach uns, dass wir am nchsten Tag in die gewnschten Zimmer umziehen knnten, was sich jedoch nicht erfllte. Ungewhnlich ist und neu fr uns war, dass man im Premier Inn jeweils am Vortag an der Rezeption den Wunsch uern muss das Zimmer zu reinigen. Einen entsprechenden Hinweis fanden wir lediglich pro Etage gegenber den Aufzgen. Obwohl wir jeweils um Reinigung gebeten hatten, passierte in beiden Zimmern sie lagen 2 Etagen auseinander nichts. In der Hotelbar waren mehrere Tische klebrig. Trotz dieser Unannehmlichkeiten berwiegen die positiven Faktoren im Premier Inn London County Hall: Die Nhe zur City, die grundstzliche Sauberkeit der Zimmer und im Hotel, die gemtlichen und gerumigen Zimmer, das Preis-/Leistungsverhltnis, das reichhaltige Frhstcksangebot und die freundlichen Mitarbeiter. Deshalb wrden wir auch gerne wiederkommen.
