Im 38 and on a waiting list for a MCL injury, I live in constant pain, every time I straighten my leg, I cant walk some days and Im stuck in bed or the sofa and dread getting up to the toilet. A year ago I was in the gym everyday and healthy. I have been told I have another 18 months to wait for sugary and this means I cant take my young kids to the park etc and Im currently drinking alcohol for pain management, constantly considering suicide and feel like Im done. There is nobody to talk too, nobody who cares and this might be the end for me. My unfortunate injury has shown me that the NHS is broken and nobody cares, I asked to speak to a doctor and there is a 4 month waiting list just for that. Broken hospital.

The dental team here are absolutely incredible! I had 2 wisdom teeth removed after an emergency 111 appointment here back in November 2022, I then had to have the other two removed just 5 months later. Both times they were absolutely fantastic from the moment I arrived. I was so scared both times but they put me at ease. The first procedure was 45 mins and the second time I was out after 20 minutes in the chair. I cant believe how fast it took. Recovery was even better the second time thanks to my amazing surgeon who stitched the gum after the extraction. Cannot recommend or thank the dentist department enough. After being in pain for what felt like years with these teeth, my life has just got so much better now I am pain free. Thanks a million guys.
