Ion Paciu Photography

I took Ion's beginners' photography course. It was great! A small group with lots of opportunity to get feedback and encouragement. Ion is very passionate about photography and not gimmicky equipment. I felt I learned a lot in two days and Ion offers ongoing encouragement and tutoring through his Facebook group after the course is complete. I'll be back. Thanks Ion!

I did not know anything about photography and in just 2 days Ion managed to explain the basics and give us all the tool to make very good photograph. He managed to explains in a very clear way the importance of aperture, ISO, shutter speed but also, and I thought that was the most important, how to THINK about the picture you're going to take. So in the end of the 2 days, we could adjust parameters all by ourselves depending on what we wanted to do or what we did not like in our previous photograph but we could also think about what to put on our picture, where, why. I was really impressed by this because it's not often that artists can show you how to get "creative by yourself". Ion also was able to understand very quickly which type of photography each student would be best at and give personalized advice to everyone. Very highly recommended school.

It was a great experience the photo session with Ion Paciu. He is really creative, calm and he knows how to make you feel comfortable when is about a photo shooting. I kindly recommend him.

I was very happy to work with Ion the other day. As a photographer myself, it was very interesting to find myself on the other side of the lens. What came across most was Ion's passion for the subject and his willingness to insist until getting the image just right. A great experience overall.

Ion is one of the best photographer I've met. He showed a great level of experience, professionalism and dedication in his work. The invitation to work with him for the exhibition at the Horniman Museum and Gardens, proved to be a success and this only because, he knew exactly what he was doing and how to transform a picture into art.
