        Tried to get membership when we first moved here 5-6 years ago. Even then it looked run down and in need of decoration. Paid 20 to bar staff who took our details, never heard back. Popped in a few times since trying to find out how to join and what happened to our money, but no success. Gave up in the end. This could be a lovely, family friendly, social club for residents of the village. However, it remains dark, dingey and decrepit. Seems to have a few devout followers who can see past the decor and seeming click that exists. Not overly 'social' to newcomers. Such a shame.
