I have been taking my son to see Lucy now for several months now and I would definitely recommend her. My son has ASD and generally does not engage with strangers but with Lucy he engaged straight away. He has progressed immensely!

Lucy was amazing therapist for my son who has additional needs. Lucy done a very in dept assessment and report, the report was done the next day super impressed it was very though and explained all my sons needs and what help he needs. I would highly recommend lucy if you are getting nowhere with nhs waiting lists like myself And opted for the private route. I look forward to working with you in the future and will sure tell other mums i know about ur 5 star service.

My son has delayed speech due to a moderate/severe hearing loss in both ears. About 4 months ago we reached the peak of concern that his speech was very behind his peers. As he was only 3 years old, this inability to communicate his needs and ideas also lead to behavioural issues; surmise it to say we were at our wits ends. As the NHS is understandably stretched, he was not getting any free support and what was on offer was so limited that it was not enough to make any lasting change, so we decided that it would be best to explore private options. We found Lucy and booked an initial assessment as well as a few in person speech therapy sessions. As a mother, it was incredibly hard for me to take H in and watch those first few times as he struggled with speech, knowing that even after all our own efforts he was so behind. From the moment that we walked into his first session it was all about H. There was no messing around - Lucy jumped straight into chatting with him and playing games and encouraging him to use what words he had. After only a few sessions we began to see a change - not just in H but in ourselves. Lucys approach to speech therapy is very adult inclusive - not only does she model to the children how to talk - she models to us as parents how to support their speech. This may sound basic or self explanatory but it is such an incredibly empowering technique - it means that though the session with Lucy may be over, what she teaches you (and the child!) carries on with you out the door and into your home life. I use the techniques she has taught us every day and have taught them to our older children. 4 months later and our son is talking! His confidence has grown, his speech is much clearer, he is able to share with us his thoughts and ideas, and best of all he now finds it so much easier to make good friends at nursery because he can chat with them as they play together. I couldnt be happier with the therapy sessions that Lucy provides, she is an incredibly professional, proactive and intuitive woman and her services an invaluable asset to our sons development. Shes worth her weight in gold and as H says every week its time to go play with Lucy!
