So happy with the excellent physio treatment my son received from James. He showed my son what exercises to go and perform in the gym to help strengthen his legs to help the injury recover. I received detailed emails after each treatment so I knew what needed to be done to help my son. I would absolutely 100% recommend Bear physio to anyone.

Great consultation with James about a longstanding rotator cuff issue. He took a lot of time to talk through and understand the situation, work out what range of motion or other issues I had and gave some simple but useful exercises to start improving things. He really knows his stuff and is definitely someone I'd recommend!

Started seeing James in the Summer for rehabilitation following knee surgery and ongoing shoulder issues. Can't recommend him highly enough, incredibly attentive and insightful physio who explains why he's doing what he's doing which gave me full understanding of how I can return back to the gym/rugby pitch in the best shape possible! Also an all-round great bloke who makes you feel seen in relation to the struggles of recovering from injury setbacks :)

Would give 6 stars if I could. James is such a lovely man, very understanding, and a great physio therapist! Made me feel so comfortable, and he made it clear that anything I was not comfortable with would not be done. Thank you so much :)

I started seeing James about a year ago after a bad flare up of sciatica. I was in a lot of pain and even just through a phone consultation before my initial appointment he was so insightful, and his skills of deduction were so helpful. Im a powerlifter, and Ive been seeing him for more maintenance-oriented appointments since then to now ensure that Im better equipped to hit my performance-based goals. James always takes the time to explain exactly what hes doing and why, which I personally find really interesting, and it helps me to understand more about my body, sport and my own recovery. I was never once told that I couldnt do something within my training, or that I would have to take time out I really felt listened to and therefore instead, we simply adapted training to ensure I wasnt in pain and ever since, he has made an effort to suggest slight tweaks to my lifting techniques to help me modify and tailor towards my own bodys mechanics. I personally have found it incredibly helpful to have a physio who is well versed in sports in general, because it means I can throw out training terminology and he immediately knows what Im talking about as well as the connotations in relation to my injury/niggles, instead of having to explain everything along the way. Not only do I come away from every appointment feeling a LOT better than I did going in, but I genuinely enjoy my sessions with him. James is so lovely and never fails to make me feel at ease. I would highly recommend to anyone! He really knows his stuff!
