Whiskers used to be a great company to deal with when Janet worked from the Bishops Stortford branch. I dealt with her many a time when working in the industry and she was always so helpful, thorough and efficient. When purchasing my first home I thought I would go with a name I know and a local agent, so I chose to use whiskers. Janet is no longer there so I was dealing with Johanna instead. Everything was very efficient in regards to my paperwork coming across and the initial conversations. The issue that I have had with them was them going back on things they have said, if youre going to use them then makes sure you get EVERYTHING in writing as theyre phone lines are not recorded apparently. When our purchase fell through in early stages (before our searches had even been requested) I should have followed my gut and asked for my money on account to be refunded. But I trusted Johanna who said we would only be charged an admin fee for setting up the account, and left the money there in case we found a following property. Now that I have requested it back a couple of months down the line they have decided they to keep most of it, and we are now 300 out of pocket, not a huge sum, but enough to make it difficult as a first time buyer.

Had a great experience with Johanna, Lana and team on both the sale and purchase of my properties. No chasing or anything required- they were proactive, courteous and maintained great professionalism and even humour in times of huge frustration with my buyer's solicitor.
