Steve English has previously installed our evohome heating system and fixed our old boiler. This time we had a leak. Steve responded to my call immediately and came round the same day. He found the source of the leak and the next day repaired it. We trust Steve and will be asking him to install a water filter soon. Bw, Ian, Amy and Eoin. Service: Plumbing leak detection

Our initial experience of the service provided by Steve English was a good one but unfortunately, this has turned out to be seriously misguided. We had a water filter fitted by him in 2019 at a cost of 500 but it didn't prevent limescale as he said it would do and so he fitted a replacement filter in March 2020. However, this replacement doesn't work either and there has been no real improvement in our water quality. The other issue we have with Steve English is, when he fitted the second water filter, he spilled water onto our Sonos music system which broke it beyond repair and meant we had to replace it at a cost of 420. He said he would claim on his insurance and reimburse us but despite our efforts to recover the money from him, he has not paid us and is now not responding to our efforts to contact him. I would suggest anyone considering using him thinks long and hard before doing so, especially if they are considering having a water filter fitted.
